Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Contractor Local collects when you use contractorlocalmarketing.com and what we do with it.
Information you give us
When you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you write. We use it only to read and answer your message, and we do not sell it or share it with anyone for their marketing.
Estimator and checker data
The Project Cost Estimator and the Permit Checker run in your browser. What you enter into them is not stored on our servers and is not linked to you.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we use analytics to understand which pages are read and how people arrive. This involves cookies or similar technologies that record things like pages visited, browser type, device type and approximate location derived from your IP address. We use this information in aggregate to improve the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.
Service providers
We use third-party services for hosting, analytics, email and embedded maps. They process information on our behalf under their own privacy terms and only as needed to provide their service.
Retention
Contact messages are kept as long as needed to answer them and for a reasonable period after. Analytics data is kept in aggregate.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete any message you sent or any personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected].
Children
This site is meant for adults planning home projects and is not directed at children.
Updates to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
